We organised a litter pick around the village on Saturday 19th October.

Unfortunately we chose the wrong day as England were playing in the Rugby World Cup and it was half term so lots of families were away!

However, a few stalwarts (including two not in the photograph) collected 10 bags of rubbish from the main roads through the village.  Thank you everyone, including the coffee makers who greeted our return.  Thanks too to Westerham Town Council for lending equipment.

Hopefully we will chose a better day next year.  It is certainly something we need to keep doing as litter doesn't seem to get any less.
